Ready…. GO!

Let’s begin our journey together at the discovery of the Via Francigena, a Cultural Rout of the Council of Europe. Over the next days, a number of promotional initiatives will take place to discover together the brand new VIA FRANCIGENA ENTRY POINT, in the monumental complex of the San Salvatore Bastion in Lucca.

On September 22 and 23, within the framework of the project Italian Wonder Ways – 5 Italian Routes for 5 Continents, the MUSEUM and the HOSPITALITY will be presented to one of the 5 groups of journalist from the international press who will join the others in the journey to Rome, through the 5 routes. The groups will be accompanied by a videomaker to turn the journey into a “tale of the experience”.

The project is sponsored by the Tuscany Region in cooperation with the local bodies interested. It is a unique opportunity to promote the Francigena route and the new Entry Point.

On Friday, September 23, at 12:00 pm, in the multi-purpose hall on the second floor of the Museum of the Hangman’s House (Lucca, via dei Bacchettoni, 8) there will be the press conference for the pre-launch of the installations of the multimedia centre.
